Auria is looking for a Virtual Desktop Engineer in San Diego, CA in support of SHARKCAGE
SHARKCAGE is a globally distributed, passive, classified enclave with a common platform to support the Navy Defense Cyber Operations (DCO). The SHARKCAGE Program enables the Navy to efficiently detect, correlate, and analyze attacks against Navy Networks.
SHARKCAGE is the U.S. Navy's DCO Analysis Enclave and is the means by which to achieve cyberspace detection-in-depth for maritime forces afloat and ashore. SHARKCAGE is the mechanism by which units, groups, and fleets will gain an attack sensing and warning (AS&W) capability from C4I networks - as well as indicators/warnings from combat systems, Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E), and Navigation networks; as well as how Commander, Task Force 1020/Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), SOCs, FIOC-DCOs etc., will achieve unity of effort and economy of force across the Navy's DCO forces.

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000.
Responsibilities:

Formulates/defines system scope and objectives.
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written and designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.
Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.
Requirements:

BS in related field OR 7 years direct experience
5 years experience
IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP)
Proven VMWare Administration (VCenter, VSA) experience within the last 2 years
Scripting language (PowerShell, Python) experience
Continuous Development/Integration Software (Jenkins, GitLab, CI) experience
Automation Experience (SIMP, Puppet, Ansible)
GIT Experience
Experience in evaluating services and products provided by COTS/GOTS Vendors and providing recommendations
