We are busy and need to find an enthusiastic recruit who takes an interest in managing the parts provided by our customers, with a sense of urgency and an eye on quality.
This is a critical and hands-on position.
Previous experience preferred.Job Purpose/Duties:
In preparation for the plating process, designs, builds and repairs a wide range of tooling.
This will require the use of various manual and power tools.Designs, builds, and repairs a wide range of toolingMaintains inventory of all materials used in the fabrication of toolingMaintains inventory of complete sets of toolingAssists production personnel in the design of new tooling to meet customer requirements and increase productivityAssists production in meeting production goals by finishing projects in a timely mannerOther duties and responsibilities as assignedWhat are we looking for? We need you to show up every day, as scheduled.
You must be able to read/write/speak English.
High school degree preferred.
Must be able to stand, twist, lift, pinch, walk, bend, kneel as needed.
Basic computer entry skills preferred.
Ability to follow written instructions.

High school diploma or GEDTrade school education preferred1- 2 years of relevant experiencePrevious experience in fabrication, welding and maintenance preferredUnderstand processes and process tooling requirementsUnderstand safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations or acts which could cause injury to self, others or the environmentKnowledge of lock-out, tag-out electrical safetyAbility to lay out materials to build tooling with consistencyAbility to work with hand and power toolsAbility to weld and use torches, mig, tig, arc, safelyFluency in reading, writing and speaking the English languageBasic math skillsAbility to maintain a regular and reliable attendance recordAbility to interact with co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative mannerAbility to lift and move 1-70 lbs.
