We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in app development to join our client's team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the software development lifecycle, exceptional analytical skills, and experience in the mortgage industry is a significant plus.

In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for app development projects.
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in app development to join our client's team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the software development lifecycle, exceptional analytical skills, and experience in the mortgage industry is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for app development projects.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and met.
- Create and maintain documentation including business process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive project deliverables.
- Assist in project planning, management, and reporting.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives and compliance standards.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure smooth deployment of applications.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in app development projects.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and reports.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Mortgage industry experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with business analysis tools and software.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the mortgage industry.
