We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Director of Health Services to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our residents receive exceptional, person-centered care in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:Lead and Inspire:
- Guide and support a team of caregivers, CNAs, and a Home Manager.
- Foster a collaborative and compassionate work culture.
- Implement best practices in dementia care.
- Monitor and assess residents' health, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with residents' families.
- Promote resident engagement and quality of life through personalized care plans.
- Provide ongoing training on dementia care and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest in dementia care and share knowledge with the team.
- Participate in budget management to ensure high-quality care.
- Registered Nurse with current licensure and at least five years of healthcare management experience, preferably in dementia or elderly care.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of dementia care.
- LALD preferred (support available to obtain this license).
