Essential Functions:
* Performs preventative and/or routine maintenance on equipment
* Trouble shoots and diagnoses problems, equipment issues, and executes repairs
* Works with manufacturing and engineering staff to problem solve and assure repairs are completed correctly
* Ensures new equipment is operating properly, including utility hook ups
* Maintains building systems including: compressed air, water, sewer, and electrical
Knowledge and experience:
* Strong knowledge of machine controls - programming and wiring
* Ability to read and/or understand machine manuals, wiring diagrams, blue prints and schematics
* Basic computer navigation ability - email, internet, applications, etc.
* Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, electrical, plumbing and welding
Additional requirements:
* Ability to operate welding equipment, forklift, drill press, milling machines, and other maintenance equipment
* Organized, works within a process, excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
* Willingness to learn new things
* Safely lifts and / or moves up to 50lbs
* Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands; Frequently will talk/hear, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; Occasionally will sit
Educational requirements:
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
