Opening for Heavy Duty Mechanic in Hudsonville, MI!.
Position Details:
- Full time
- Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm, some Saturdays
- Paid Weekly
- $25 Per Hour
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Company paid short term disability and life insurance. Available 30 days after hire
Responsibilities:
- Can diagnose and repair basic powertrain, electrical, and lighting systems.
- Be able to conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes.
- Able to perform moderately difficult diagnostics.
- Brakes (Air-dryers, adjustments)
- Performs repairs on class 8 tractor/trailers in an efficient manner.
- Performs all aspects of the job safely and in accordance with company policies.
Hiring criteria:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year recent heavy diesel maintenance experience
- Possess toolbox and general technician toolset
- Experience wiring (truck and trailer lighting)
- Basic computer skills
- Diagnostic and software experience
- CDL license preferred
- Clean driving record
