We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as DevSecOps Platform Director.
The DevSecOps Platform Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices across the organization.
This role provides strategic vision and technical direction to ensure the secure and efficient delivery of platform capabilities.
Key responsibilities include leading the DevSecOps platform teams, mentoring and guiding technical staff, and ensuring the successful implementation and deployment of DevSecOps tools and technologies aligning to Takeda's compliance and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Strategy & Planning
Set overall platform strategy and design and be accountable for ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Outline platform vision, investment, and value case for platform strategy and communicate to senior stakeholders ensuring that ongoing feedback loops exist.
Establish and maintain DevSecOps governance structures and best practices with the business and internal GDD&T stakeholders (Enterprise Architecture, Compliance, Legal/Privacy…etc) for platform services.
Direct long-term planning and development programs, and the appraisal of the program portfolio management against the business strategy, budget available, and value delivered.
Provide directional leadership and vision to the DevSecOps Platform Engineering teams and platform owners.
Drive the DevSecOps Platform and CoE roadmaps and establish the definition of success for the Platform Engineering team while forming feedback loops with Takeda's DD&T leadership teams.
Drive DevOps/Cloud-Native technology adoption across Takeda, including containerization and microservice-oriented architectures, to improve security, efficiency, agility, performance, and operational excellence.
Authorize and oversee platform design, plan projects and establish and monitor time to value to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and properly integrated.
Own platform development and communicate how the platform is meeting the business priorities and goals of the organizations (business, technology, and marketing).
Stakeholder Management
Understand customer needs and goals, current platform capabilities, and define future platform possibilities.
Set customer expectations and ensure services delivered meet or exceed current and future business, customer, and stakeholder expectations.
Manage the expectations of business owners, customers, and other stakeholders.
Close coordination with Takeda's Cyber and Digital Trust teams to help define and ensure adherence to Takeda's regulatory and governance processes.
Platform Delivery
Directs, develops and mentors a team of platform owners and engineers to ensure DevSecOps strategy is implemented consistently across the org, according to relevant quality and compliance standards.
Ensures that technology delivers new and enhanced products/services required by the business, while protecting the integrity of existing products/services.
