Via Sophia by the Sea is seeking a Server Assistant to join their team!
Via Sophia by the Sea located in Kennebunkport is an extension of Via Sophia at The Hamilton Hotel in Washington, DC. Reimagining the osteria experience for Kennebunk, where classic Italian dishes and fresh-from-the-boat seafood are paired with bespoke beverages and a discerning wine list. With a focus on quality, consistency, and hospitality, we offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest!
Candidates must provide excellent service and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
* Must maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and co-workers
* Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
* Must know how to prioritize and respond in a timely fashion
* Ensure that each customer is served efficiently and effectively
* Server Assistants must know the basic food ingredients of each dish
* Must be able to interact with others easily
Guest Service:
* Meets or exceeds restaurant guest satisfaction measures and provides exceptional guest service
* Proactively relay all customer interactions and complaints to the Manager on Duty
* Must be a good example while working alongside team members
Additional Responsibilities:
* Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
* Must be able to be on feet for the entire length of the shift
* Must be able to lift 50lbs
