Position Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for performance of complex, individualized, family-oriented nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures under the direct supervision of a charge/shift leader RN.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: BSN preferred. License/Certifications: Current licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing as an R.N. required. BLS and ability to perform CPR required. ACLS preferred. Experience: Minimum of one-year acute care experience as an R.N. preferred. Additional Information

- Registered Nurses with more than 3 years of experience: $20,000 (full time)
Nursing Float Pool - SURGICAL SERVICES TRACK
The Nursing Float Pool is seeking a nursing candidate with acute-care experience and an interest in holding a cross-trained position in surgical service areas. Nurses in this position will build upon a Medical Surgical and Intermediate Care skill base
- Ability to float between multiple Medical-Surgical units, Special Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department to care for medical-surgical and intermediate care patients.
- 12-hours shifts (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am)
- Diversify your nursing skill set by gaining experience caring for patients on varying units.

- To provide care and support to patients located on Medical-Surgical, Critical Care and Emergency Care units.
- To work as part of the multidisciplinary team, participating in patient rounds, performing and documenting assessments, interventions, education, and care planning.
