We are actively seeking a dedicated and committed Accounts Receivable Specialist whose responsibilities and duties will focus on Cash Application for our Rockville, MD location.

Are you a Match?

The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist, Cash Application will have proven skills in providing excellent and effective cash application services and maintaining trusted relationships with both external and internal customers.
Primary duties include maintaining trusted relationships with internal and external customer contacts; accurate and timely processing of cash receipts, payment applications, adjustments and customer refunds; reconciling customer payments.

Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:

3 years of clerical and data entry experience in an accounts receivable or accounts payable transactional capacity at a mid-sized company.
Solid collections and analytical skills on large and small customers.
Ability to handle high volumes, difficult situations, and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Experience applying and reconciling cash receipts and receivable information for customer accounts.
Understanding of basic accounting and impact of cash application entries on customer balances and bank reconciliation.
Excellent Excel, Outlook, PDF editing, computer data entry, and 10-key proficiency, as well as the ability to quickly gain necessary skills and learn new software programs.
Detail-oriented with excellent communication, negotiation, problem solving, and follow-up skills.
Self-starter and individual contributor.
Demonstrated mathematical and accounting aptitude and function.
High school education or equivalent.
Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job duty of all positions at Roberts Oxygen.
Experience with FACTS or Billtrust Cash Application a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
If selected, ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
