POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Lead is a skilled position in the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead electrical distribution systems. This position works at various locations and may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. The right candidate for this position will be team-oriented, customer-focused, and most importantly adhere to all Stella May safety and other policies.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, or repair work of energized and de-energized overhead work
- Responsibly supervise service crew
- String overhead wire
- Troubleshoot secondary systems
- Frequently work with energized secondary systems requiring skill and care to protect themselves and the lives of others
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order
- Plan safe work based on a job print or work order
- Conduct a pre-job/tailgate briefing
- Safely install and remove mechanical jumpers
- Perform any other duties required to complete a job
