The Ultra Engineering function manages a portfolio of specialist capabilities, generating highly differentiated solutions and products by applying electronic, mechanical, and software technologies in demanding and critical environments to meet customer needs.
Nationality Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
The Engineering Technician will work closely with engineering to build, and service electro-mechanical systems. He/she may also assist with manufacturing and contribute to design. He/she will be working on a variety of systems consisting of electrical cables, power supplies, computers, custom circuit cards, and mechanical racks.
Required Skills:
2+ years of working with engineering to build prototypes
2+ years of soldering experience; both surface mount and PCB
2+ years electrical cable assembly (crimping and soldering)
2+ year of troubleshooting electrical assemblies, and documentation
Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.

Electrical test execution per documented procedure
Altium Schematic Capture - CAD documentation Skills
