What you will do in this role:

Under the supervision of the R.N., assists with the assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy. Identifies and initiates appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.

Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.

Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.

Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.

Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited licensed practical/ vocational nurse program.

Current Montana state licensure as Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.

BLS certification

IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred

Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
