Knowesis, a dynamic and forward-thinking company, is currently seeking an exceptional Reserve Officer Training Corps(ROTC) Specialist to join our team and provide invaluable support to the Army National Guard Strength Maintenance Division, Data Analyst Support Services contract.
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess U.S.
Citizenship without the need for sponsorship, both now and in the future.
Applicants without proof of U.S.
Citizenship will not be considered due to the position's security clearance requirements.
The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Email OSMs weekly and update Cadet Command Branching Panel members with the status of Letters of Acceptance) (LOAs) used at the Annual Cadet Command Branching Board.
A list of Cadet Command Branching Panel members will be provided by the COR at the Post-Award Meeting.
This establishes cadets are slated for National Guard duty and receive their first branch/job choice.
• Provide updates to OSMs on cadets who do not have an LOA uploaded into the LOA portal to prevent and reduce incorrect component or branch assignments by the Cadet Command Branching Panel.
• Coordinate with ARNG BOLC and all 54 States and Territory OSMs weekly to ensure their Officers are scheduled for training and returned to their National Guard (NG) Directorate.
The contractor shall also create and provide as-needed, bi-weekly, and end-of-month scholarship reports to all Brigade Liaison Officers (BDE LNOs) on scholarship and non-scholarship control numbers Data from this report shall be included in the end-of-month ROTC Report.
• Communicate with the State Officer Strength Managers (OSMs) from the 54 States and Territories telephonically and via email daily.
• Utilize Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to perform queries, prepare reports, and operate the following automated systems regarding military personnel such as the Defense Travel System (DTS), Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), ATRRS Letter of Acceptance (LOA) Portal, Human Resources Command (HRC) Soldier Management System (SMS), ARNG G1 Personnel Gateway - Data Portal (RCMS), the Director's Personnel Readiness Overview (DPRO), Interactive Personnel Record Management System (iPERMS), and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (DISS).
As the Army transitions from legacy systems contractors shall become familiar, trained, and have the ability to access and navigate the Accessions Information Environment (AIE), and Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A).
The contractor shall utilize the Defense Joint Military Pay System (DJMS), and Cadet Command Information Management System (CCIMS) to generate reports and data collection.
A list of OSMs shall be provided by the COR at the Post-Award Meeting.
• Access the LOA Portal daily when the contractor receives a call to verify if a given Lieutenant is:
(1) in ROTC; (2) they are branching in a particular branch; and (3) they are affiliated with a particular State or Territory.
A summary of actions shall be included in the ROTC Weekly Report.
• The contractor shall communicate with the US Army Cadet Command, Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff, Senior Army National Guard Advisor to coordinate all written communication pertaining to scholarship policy, procedures, and allocation between the US Army Cadet Command to the 54 States and Territories.
• Provide a cost-benefit analysis of any contractor travel with the US Army Cadet Command, Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff, and Senior Army National Guard Advisor before scheduling contractor travel.
• Provide a trip report within 5 working days describing the benefits gained, and communication of issues addressed and/or identified following contractor travel to the US Army Cadet Command and the COR.
Required Qualifications:
• Prior experience with the Army National Guard
• Experience with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Required Education:
• High school diploma
