The Facility Attendant position is a flexible part-time position at Shawnee Town Hall and Visitor's Center. The Facility Attendant is responsible for preparing for and supervising during third-party facility rental use. Monitors renter use to ensure rules and procedures are followed. The majority of the hours for this position will be evenings and weekends. Candidates must be available and willing to work this schedule.
• Pay for this position begins at $10.00/hour (DOQ).

• Position Responsibilities:
•
• Facility Preparation and Maintenance
• . Prepares facilities for activities (e.g., setting up chairs and tables, and other equipment) as directed. Performs light maintenance (e.g., collecting trash around and in the facility, and occasional vacuuming
• Rental Use Oversight
• . Opens facility as per rental schedule, adjusts room set-up and or building temperature as requested by renter. Ensures compliance with regulations and practices to maintain safe, legal and appropriate facility use.
• Other Duties
• . May be requested to facilitate Shawnee Farmer's Market. May be requested to assist with special event activities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Minimum Qualifications:
•
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• A minimum of two (2) years experience requiring public contact and customer service.
