We are seeking a diligent and proactive Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Lake Forest, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, calculating, and monitoring inventory levels, placing purchase orders, developing vendor relationships, and ensuring the proper documentation of material purchases. The role requires strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues, reconcile vendor returns, and expedite order deliveries. Additionally, this position involves collaborating with internal departments and partnering with team members to provide support. The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing assigned reports and special projects. Apply today!

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
• Analyze, calculate and monitor inventory levels daily
• Place purchase orders based on replenishment needs
• Develop and maintain good vendor relations
• Procure appropriate documentation with material purchases
• Resolve problems, reconcile vendor returns and expedite order deliveries
• Collaborate with internal departments when vendor issues arise
• Partner with other team members to provide support
• Complete assigned reports and special projects

Requirements for Accounts Payable Specialist:
• Bachelor's degree; major in Supply Chain is a big plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
