Workers' Compensation Lost Time Claim Director

Chubb is currently seeking a Workers Compensation Claim Director for our Central Region located in either the Chicago, IL or Troy, MI office. This is NOT a remote position. The candidate will be required to report the Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX offices on a 3/2 Hybrid Model.

•Handle all aspects of complex workers' compensation/lost time claims from set up to case closure.
•Conduct 3 part/ongoing investigations, administer statutory benefits and notices, ensure reserve adequacy, control vendors, manage medical, legal and rehabilitation activity, conduct settlement negotiations, and ensure compliance with customer service requests including Special Claims Handling procedures as well as compliance with state regulations.
•Work with in-house Technical Assistants, Special Investigators, Nurse Consultants, Telephonic Case Managers as well as Team Supervisors to exceed customer's expectations for exceptional claims handling service.

COMPETENCIES/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
•Requires 7+ years of handling complex workers compensation cases.

and diversity appreciation.

EDUCATION:
•Bachelor's Degree preferred.

•If you do not already have one, you will be required to obtain an applicable resident or designated home state adjusters license and possibly additional state licensure.

•AIC, CPCU or ARM designations a plus.
