The Role
The Global Sales Coordinator is a team player who can work well both independently in this remote role and as a part of a larger dynamic team.
The Coordinator assists up to 10 Directors and the Regional Vice President, focusing on the non-selling functions of the department to optimize the sales team's time pursuing and securing additional business.The candidate ideally has knowledge or understanding of hotel group sales.
This position is remote-based and the individual must reside in the Midwest.
Responsibilities also include:

•Plan, prepare, and coordinate for tradeshow
•Manage expense reports and bill backs
•Support daily communication with accounts, hotels, and individual travel advisors
•Prepare sales reports
•Manage customer database
•Create and update marketing and sales materials including Quarterly Business Reviews, marketing flyers, and sales presentations
•Assist in completing RFPs
•Assist in the team's workflow, monthly team calls, and overall team connectivity
•Extensive administrative responsibilities as it relates to sales, organization, timelines, deadlines, and more
Experience Required:

• 3+ years of work experience in related industry
Experience Preferred:

•4-year college degree
•Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
•Proficient in Lanyon, CVENT & Envision (or similar CRM tool)
•Experience with Cognos, Tableau, Reserve, and Oracle
