You will lead and inspire a team of top engineers, manage critical infrastructure projects, and ensure our systems are secure, efficient, and scalable.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership:
Manage and mentor a team of 30+ engineers, including hiring, training, and motivating top talent.Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement cloud and infrastructure strategies to drive technological innovation and efficiency.Cloud Management:
Oversee the development and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, including budgeting and spending oversight.Technology Oversight:
Stay abreast of new technologies, ensuring the team s skills are up to date, and integrating cutting-edge solutions.Operational Excellence:
Ensure the reliability and security of our systems, handle SLAs, and drive continuous improvement in our infrastructure.Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including CTO, VP's, CISO, and other leaders to align goals and ensure successful product delivery.Budget Management:
Develop and maintain a cloud budget, monitoring spending and ensuring cost efficiency.Risk Management:
Provide strategic risk guidance and consultation, evaluating technical standards and controls.Client and Industry Relations:
Establish and maintain relationships with clients and industry leaders to enhance our cloud strategy and implementation.Performance Monitoring:
Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and drive the continuous improvement of our release processes.What We re Looking ForExperience:
Proven experience in managing and leading teams of 20+ in cloud and infrastructureTechnical Expertise:
Deep hands-on experience with relevant cloud and infrastructure technologies (GCP is a strong preference), Kubernetes, Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka), JenkinsLeadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire global teams, driving them to achieve organizational objectives.Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.Passion for Innovation:

Understanding of business strategy and financial forecasting.Tool Proficiency:
Familiarity with Groupon tech stack including Kubernetes custom operators, Envoy/Istio, Terraform/Ansible, Java, Rails, Golang, Node, React, Jira, Confluence, and Asana.Hybrid Cloud Experience:
