Position Title: Stamping Maintenance Technician

Wage: $35.00 - $40.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am - 3:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Stamping Maintenance Technician at a company in Carol Stream, IL. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift. Apply now!

Stamping Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
• Perform regular checks or tests on manufacturing equipment for proper operation
• Inspect, maintain, diagnose and repair machinery and equipment
• Dissemble machinery and equipment and replace defective parts
• Reassemble machinery and equipment and make final adjustments
• Confer with Tool & Die Maker to fabricate tooling parts and components as required
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, such as grinders, torches, hammers and wrenches
• Test machines after repair to ensure proper operation
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
• Order repair parts as needed
• Record and maintain data of checks, tests, repairs, and daily reports
• Work closely with production personnel on equipment repairs
• Complete and satisfactorily pass forklift operator training provided by the company
