A day in the Life of a Hydroponic Farm Intern with WesleyLife:
Provide day-to-day operational assistance on the farm including, but not limited to:
Seeding, transplanting, harvesting, and cleaningWorking alongside and assisting in the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteersHelping with packing and delivery of productHelp with the expansion of farm operation and capacity by assisting in the increasing of production of already existing products along with the trialing and marketing of new products as neededBeing involved with plant care including balancing pH and nutrients, checking of insects or damage to plants, and general monitoring of the systems and the facility.Manage and work alongside volunteers from a variety of diverse backgrounds and experiences WesleyLife has been certified as one of 2023's Great Places to Work!With a legacy spanning 76 years, WesleyLife has established an esteemed reputation for excellence, recognized across the Midwest as transforming the aging experience.
