*Partner with BAYADA to become an RBT:*
+ Fully PAID training to prepare you to become a nationally certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (includes exam reimbursement)
+ Up to 80 hours of classroom and hands-on learning to use applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to help clients learn and grow
*Responsibilities for a BAYADA Behavior Technician includes:*
+ Work directly with clients and follow the established service plan.
+ Establish and maintain relationships with clients, families and school staff. Respect the values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes of families and school staff.
+ Implement behavior therapy techniques.
+ Document interventions and progress towards goals
+ Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan.
+ Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals.
+ Provide training and/or support to the client in interpersonal skills, the development and maintenance of personal relationships, and in living in their community.
*Qualifications for a Registered Behavior Technician:*
+ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified or the desire to pursue certification (paid for by BAYADA)
+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
+ One year experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities _preferred_
