We are working with a client who is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join the team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
• Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or memory impairments
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily routines
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of catheter care and experience in administering medications is a plus
• Familiarity with medical record keeping systems is beneficial
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
Compensation
- $20.00 - $23.37/hr
