Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial phone screens
Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates and hiring managers
Prepare and send offer letters and employment contracts
Facilitate the onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
Support employee engagement initiatives and events
HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Prepare and process HR-related documentation, such as employment verifications and status changes
Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Performance Management: Assist in the coordination of performance appraisal processes
Track and monitor employee performance reviews and follow up on any outstanding reviews
Training and Development: Support the coordination of training programs and workshops
Maintain training records and track employee participation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a coordinator or generalist capacity
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
