Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial phone screens
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates and hiring managers
- Prepare and send offer letters and employment contracts
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Support employee engagement initiatives and events
- HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Prepare and process HR-related documentation, such as employment verifications and status changes
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Performance Management:
- Assist in the coordination of performance appraisal processes
- Track and monitor employee performance reviews and follow up on any outstanding reviews
- Training and Development:
- Support the coordination of training programs and workshops
- Maintain training records and track employee participation
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a coordinator or generalist capacity
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
