Job Summary

Performs activities concerned with general ledger and Accounts payable, and Financial reporting. Assist in process of accurately stating financial position of the hospital.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in performance of monthly general ledger closing process.
• Preparation and review of assigned balance sheet reconciliation to ensure actual activity is reported accurately with proper support. Also proposes necessary adjustments on a timely basis.
• Manages Accounts Payable process including electronic invoicing, vendor research issues and GL coding.
• Assists with completion of daily reporting for Internal Management needs.
• Regular, punctual and dependable attendance.
• Assists Controller and CFO as needed with Special Assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care accounting preferred but not required
• Bachelors Degree is Accounting, Finance or other business related field
