Job Summary
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Financial Planning and Analysis candidate to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will leverage your strengths in modeling and working with raw data to cut through ambiguity and maximize your impact on the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Proactively identify risks and opportunities for the designated business segments by leveraging data driven insights.
Optimize KPI reporting and internal financial reporting to senior management, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Invent and/or simplify existing FP&A processes to allow for more efficiency.
Partner with our accounting team for month-end and quarter-end close.
Support Management Team on One-Off Data Analysis Exercises.
Support the financial integration of newly acquired/opened businesses, including the establishing of financial processes and impact analysis.
Support the annual budgeting process by collaborating with business partners to gather inputs, develop budgets, and analyze variances.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related field
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning software a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience
Advanced proficiency with Excel & complex financial modeling
Power BI
Financial ERP Systems
Experience working in CPG industry (or similar industry)
Digital/eCommerce and customer data analysis (preferred but not required)
Education
Bachelor's Degree
