Community Healthcare System is hiring an Operational Assistant!
Position location: St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago, Indiana
Provides administrative support to director and department. Utilizes computer applications to streamline day-to-day activities - word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and other software to create appropriate reports and documentation. Handles confidential information. Receives and directs visitors and phone calls; maintains and updates department records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma.
3-5 years related office/administrative experience, healthcare or medical record field preferred.
Professional telephone skills; strong customer service skills.
Good oral and written communication skills as well as organization skills.
Able to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines.
Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
