In this critical role, you will be responsible for proactively identifying, assessing, mitigating, and resolving risks and issues throughout the entire project lifecycle.

as you take on some tough challengesPrimary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management plan for the programAnalyze the likelihood and impact of each identified riskDevelop and implement effective mitigation plans to minimize the impact of risksCoordinating mitigation plans across the stakeholdersTrack and monitor the status of all risks and issuesConduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and roadblocksProactively communicate risks and issues to project stakeholders, including escalation to senior management when necessaryLead the development and execution of contingency plans for high-impact risksTracking mitigation plans and reporting on progress towards resolving identified risks and issuesAnalyze trends in risks and issues to identify root causes and implement preventative measuresWork collaboratively with all project team members to foster a proactive risk management cultureConduct periodic Risk Management trainingsDocument all risk management activities and maintain clear and concise recordsStay up to date on industry best practices for risk management in IT projectsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsSolid communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities

5+ years of experience in IT project management with a Solid focus on risk managementExperience in developing and implementing risk management plansProficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Business Process Management Certification, or Six Sigma Certification, or Lean Certification or CMMI knowledgeAbility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, if required
Preferred Qualification:
Experience with risk management tools and techniques (e.g., FMEA, SWOT analysis)Project Management Certification (PMI)

The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
