Consulting Specialist Senior

Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in Washington, DC and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll DoEnable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas:
Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services.
Drive aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues.
Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients' conversion to Cloud.
Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work.
Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the components in the design.• 50% Travel required nationally.• Telecommuting permitted.• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
RequirementsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Driving implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Azure API Management, Azure Command-Line Interface (CLI), Visual Studio (VS) Code, Azure Storage Explorer, and Azure Database Migration Service;• Converting legacy data according to current system's data structure utilizing data warehouse tools, including Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics;• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio, MS Power BI, and Mural;• Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Azure DevOps and Jira;• Defining project approaches and driving .NET, .NET Core, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), and OAuth implementation activities across the solution delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, user story definition, and assessment of launch readiness;• Utilizing client scripts, business rules, User Interface (UI) actions and policies on the Azure platform, to architect project solutions based on client requirements for Azure App Service, .NET, Node.js, APIM, and Azure Active Directory (AD) modules and integrations;• Developing and reviewing required project documentation, including presentations, process flow diagrams, and process documents; and• Working across all phases of the Agile lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement cloud-based applications, utilizing Azure DevOps for enterprise-level clients in the Financial Services industry.
