This opportunity hires into our transportation electrification practice which designs and builds infrastructure projects that have recently recieved significant funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Our project portfolio includes charging infrastructure for major metropolitan transit agencies, major heavy-duty trucking operators, private fleet customers, utility fleet clients and cutting edge/developmental charging hardware installations.Our Transmission & Distribution global practice is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the creation and assembly of electrical design packages for electric vehicle infrastructure projects.

Provide technical advice to clients and team membersProvide electrical engineering design for electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects from conceptual design through construction packages.
This includes site plans, single lines, construction details, specifications, and calculationsCoordinate with civil/structural engineer to provide complete designsCoordinate with utilities and permitting agenciesProvide support through construction including reviewing submittals, answering requests for information, and providing revised design documents as neededAttend site visits and client meetings to discuss existing facilitiesPerform quality reviews of electrical design packagesProvide input on project and construction estimating at various phasesProvide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members.Attend and participate in client, contractor, and vendor meetingsAttend and present at industry conferencesDevelop white papers and present at industry conferencesPresent solutions and/or findings to clientOther duties as assigned QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program.Or Bachelor of Science in Electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering may be substituted for 1 year experience.3 years of electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred.Successful completion (i.e.passing) FE or EIT preferred.Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Facility distribution systems, 480VAC and BelowBuilding and Site LightingInterest in vehicle electrification and/or zero emission mobilityExperience preferred using REVIT, AutoCAD, and electrical design softwaresExperience preferred in designing medium voltage electrical service and distribution systemsSelf-starter ready and able to learn new skill sets in this growing and changing fieldAbility to travel.Compensation Range $115,000 - $175,000The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations.
The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to:
individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location.
The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
