Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in insurance defense matters, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and liability claims.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Connecticut State Bar.
- 2+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on insurance defense.
- Strong litigation skills and courtroom experience.
