Job Summary:
Works directly under appropriate supervision upon acceptance to and while enrolled in Pharmacy School until graduation. Provides pharmacy patient care in Pharmacies and Pharmacy Services. Ensures patient safety in the preparation and provisioning of care related to but not limited to medications, procedures, infection prevention, fall prevention, including consistent use of two patient identifiers and procedural time outs. Reports safety hazards, accidents and incidents, and unsafe working conditions promptly.
• Learns and applies the functions of a pharmacist as allowed by the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy under appropriate supervision.
• Supports department personnel in work assignments and patient care.
• Participates in special projects as assigned and works at other locations as assigned.
