Conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basinsPerform as Capture Manager for pre-positioning and preparing proposalsInspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams including review and surveillance of monitoring data.Comprehensive Safety Reviews and FERC Part12D Inspections of existing Dams and Hydropower.
This would require the leading of multidisciplinary teams to deliver all aspects.Perform Alternatives Analyses, Feasibility Studies, and Detailed Designs with strong knowledge of design drawings and technical specifications.Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications.Conduct potential failure mode analyses and risk analyses for water storage and hydropower dams, including identifying and developing potential failure modes, and serving as Independent Consultant or Facilitator in risk analysis workshops.Client liaison and experience with technical review boards.Project management of multidisciplinary teams and the engagement of AECOM s operations/finance teamsMentoring and technical development of junior staff, supporting them to achieve technical successCollaborate with technical leads in our Mining Department and with Dams staff in Oakland, CAMakes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
