Facility Coordinator

The Facilities Coordinator/Maintenance Tech is responsible for overseeing fabrication shop and facilities maintenance and ensuring all equipment and buildings are maintained and serviced according to established protocols.

Essential Functions
  • Manage all facility needs including assistance with site planning, materials/supplies needed, and assistance with management of other set-up/maintenance needs.
  • Analytic problem-solver.
  • Detail-oriented planner.
  • Reviewing and executing supply needs as directed by Fab Shop Manager or General Manager
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced according to established protocols.
  • Perform equipment repairs where qualified and per ILG and manufacturers' guidelines and instructions.
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure all equipment is fully operational with little or no downtime.
  • Coordinate with the general manager on all other facility needs.
  • Attend training courses or qualification schools to ensure repair and maintenance competencies remain current.
  • All other job duties as assigned.
Education & Experience

Required
  • High School or equivalent
  • 3-5 years applicable job experience


Preferred
  • Technical Degree
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • CAD/CAM experience
Skills & Competencies

Required
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to leverage technology in work processes
  • Strong communication skills, including written communication
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures and best practices in the industry
  • Experience in a countertop fabrication shop in manufacturing or other related shop industry preferred.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues.
  • Displays willingness to make decisions.
