This team enables the payment rails integrations with bank partners.
Platform currently processes ~200 billion in payments volume each year and is growing rapidly.
Responsible for payment processing across direct customers and bank partners.
Payment Engineer will have an opportunity to re-architect the platform to accommodate the scaling needs and add capabilities to offer new products and services to our customers.Payments Platform is core to what BILL does, this team transacted over ~ 200 billion dollars for our customers.

8 years of related experience with a Bachelor s degree; or 5 years and a Master s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experienceExperience with JavaScript and Angular, HTML, XHTML, Oracle DB/My SQLHave understanding of Version control systems, Graph QL, relational databases, entity relationships, Splunk, Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium, Test RailExcellent troubleshooting abilities and energy to be on call for supportExperience working on large scale, complex applications Ability to gain alignment across cross-functional boundariesProduct through all stages of development from concept to launch at scaleFamiliarity and expertise in writing Unit testsExperience in the payments industry or building payment applications is a must.
Experience working on large scale, complex applicationsExperience designing and building scalable cloud-native applications that are deployed in one or more public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)Test Automation framework experience with Cypress.io, TestRail, Selenium, JenkinsExperience in the payments industry or building payment applications is a must.
Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker.Experience in complex problem-solving in large-scale distributed systems, performance optimization, and high-availability systems.#LIThe estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.
Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
