The Role
We are seeking a skilled CAD Automation Engineer/Developer to join our software development team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing a CAD connector for our PLM platform, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain CAD connector and automation solutions to streamline processes within our platform, ensuring reliability, seamless integration, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with software development and other teams to understand project requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of CAD connector and automation scripts & tools to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Optimize processes to enhance performance, productivity, and user experience.
- Document CAD connector and automation workflows, configurations, and implementation details to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer among team members.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders, including product and PLM teams, to gather feedback and requirements, ensuring that CAD connector and automation solutions meet user needs, expectations, and industry standards.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Proficiency in .Net, C#, and REST API development environments.
- Familiarity with CAD automation development processes.
- Hands-on experience in SolidWorks CAD API programming.
- Understanding of Product Structure Architecture.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio development environment.
- Experience with any PDM/PLM Software.
- Basic understanding of Engineering Standards.
- Experience with creating models and assemblies.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
