You Are :

The Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) is a critical, hands-on role and will be responsible for migrating cache instances to the public cloud.
Post-migration, this person will also perform proactive monitoring and maintenance.
The Work
• Creating and managing the ODB environments that serve production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, and non-production needs
• Installing and maintaining the administrative and monitoring tools necessary for high levels of availability and performance of the client's Epic system
• Understanding performance metrics, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues
• Understanding Caché and Epic upgrades and updates to production and non-production environments
• Configuring and maintaining environment copies according to the client's environment strategy
• Engaging in capacity planning testing to ensure adequate system resources
• Writing and maintaining scripts to improve system management tasks
• Maintaining and testing processes related to business continuity
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Healthcare IT in a Operational Database Administrator role
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Caché IRIS
• Epic Operational Database Administrator Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Database Technologies
• Experience with Database Activity Monitoring
• Experience with Database Performance Management
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
