Now hiring a Stockroom Manager in the City of Gardena!
As a Stockroom Manager you will:
Inventory Management:
* Coordinate daily stockroom operations.
* Maintain accurate inventories.
* Order supplies as needed.
* Prevent excess stock and eliminate non-usable items.
* Address inconsistencies between inventory records and actual stock.
Kitting and Shipping:
* Pull kits according to the Master Production Schedule.
* Work with Purchasing to expedite parts not readily available.
* Ensure accurate inventory and timely receipt and shipment of parts.
Process Controls and Efficiency:
* Establish process controls through team training and development.
* Embrace continuous improvement (CI) culture to reduce waste, decrease costs, and increase throughput.
Performance Metrics:
* Maintain inventory accuracy.
* Measure kit accuracy and ensure timely delivery to the production floor.
* Follow strict timelines for receiving and shipping items.
Managerial Responsibilities:
* Supervise the material team.
* Conduct interviews, hiring, training, and performance appraisals.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am-4pm
This is a Full Time Opportunity
Required Qualifications:
* Relevant, recent, and verifiable EMS experience.
* Bachelor's degree in business (preferred) or 5-10 years of experience managing an EMS stockroom.
* Completion of APICS certification or similar supply chain management certifications.
* Strong computer skills and managerial abilities.
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred).
* Experience with electrical components and ISO 9001-certified electronics manufacturing environment
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
