ZRG Partners has been retained to recruit a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for the Center for Elders' Independence (cei.elders.org) in the San Francisco Bay area.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a rapidly growing PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) organization that uses a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team approach to care planning and implementation for the purpose of providing high quality, affordable, integrated health care services to the elderly.
Nurse Practitioners at CEI are empowered providers who prioritize building strong relationships with their participants and their families, spending substantial time with each participant, with a manageable patient load ranging from 50 to 70.
CEI s Nurse Practitioners report directly to their Chief Medical Officer, Dr.
James Mittelberger, a nationally recognized physician leader who has dedicated his career to the care of vulnerable patients across the continuum of care from hospital to home.
CEI is committed to its team members having work/life balance.
Their centers are open from 8AM-5PM weekdays.
All employees receive generous benefits, 10 company holidays, 4 floating holidays, and an initial accrual rate of 16 PTO days per year.
Requirements
- Masters Prepared Nurse Practitioner Family, Adult, or Geriatric certificate and licensed as a Registered Nurse in California.
Must be certified by the BRN. - Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly
- DEA Certificate and Furnishing License required
- Experience and interest in working in geriatrics.
- A current certification in CPR.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
