As the GBS organisation continues to grow and accommodates more, we are expanding our services into new area where we start to provide accounting, reporting and control services to our JV partners. New team will be supporting one of our Joint Venture (JV) partners, operating one of the major offshore fields. The team would be completely ring-fenced and work together with representatives from the JV to provide end-to-end accounting, reporting and control services.

In this role You will:
- Coordinate accurate and timely accounting processes, especially in complex areas, for various reporting periods.
- Ensure precision in routine accounting tasks, particularly in challenging areas.
- Manage accounting activities for different partnerships, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to prioritize and accomplish accounting objectives efficiently.
- Facilitate understanding of accounting practices within teams, promptly addressing inquiries.
- Resolve accounting issues promptly using available resources and expertise.
- Provide expertise and support on accounting systems, guiding team members as needed.
- Review and uphold consistency in accounting practices and controls across the team.
What You will need to be successful:
- Proven experience in finance areas - group reporting / general accounting
- Intercompany experience is a huge advantage
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, numeracy, and solid financial understanding.
- Maintains a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- Exhibits problem-solving abilities and thrives under pressure.
- Projects self-confidence in interactions with internal and external contacts.
- Possesses strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Displays assertiveness and influence in various situations.
- Actively contributes to team objectives, including mentoring junior team members.
