Financial Crimes Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed investigations into complex financial crimes transactions and suspicious activities.
- Analyze transactional patterns and trends to detect potential fraud schemes.
- Collaborate on risk analysis and modeling to enhance prevention strategies.
- Prepare documentation and recommendations for reporting suspicious activity.
- Identify and address control failures within bank processes.
- Develop testing strategies to evaluate fraud prevention measures.
- Enhance internal policies and procedures to mitigate fraud risks.
- Participate in projects to improve financial crimes detection and prevention.
- Provide training and support on financial crimes awareness.
Qualifications:
- Recent experience in financial fraud investigations preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Technical proficiency with computers required.
- Prior experience with EFI preferred.
- Ability to think critically and analyze complex situations.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Must have a dedicated home office with reliable Wi-Fi.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in banking and finance investigations.
- Familiarity with writing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
