Role:
The Employee Benefits Account Manager supports the sales process of employee benefits to customer. The ideal candidate has some understanding of the group renewal cycle and how to support a producer with admin tasks. Experience with medical practice clients will be a plus. The candidate chosen would build benefit enrollment materials for employees which are created in excel and PowerPoint

Note:
This role is not related to an employee benefits administrator role. This role supports the sale of employee benefits products.

Qualifications:

• Experienced - Required. The ideal candidate has some understanding of the group renewal cycle and how to support a producer with admin tasks. Experience with medical practice clients will be a plus.
• Licensed - Required. The candidate chosen will have current licensure for the role.
• Quick learner - We are looking for someone who can pick up new things rapidly. A quick starter who can integrate new knowledge will be set up for success.
• Computer literate - Ready to use and learn technology, as we work in a variety of portals and software programs. The candidate chosen would build benefit enrollment materials for employees which are created in excel and PowerPoint
• Multi-tasking - Ability to successfully manage different projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Cross-training opportunities will be available for life insurance, annuities, and long-term care.
• Communication - The ability to speak and write in a clear and calm manner, ensuring customer satisfaction above all.
• Organization - Ability to plan and operate in a well-organized manner.
• Team Oriented - Ability to incorporate well with the existing team, as well as maintain a positive attitude and good energy in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Follow up with prospects - WE PROVIDE LEADS!
• Cross-sell additional lines of business to existing customers
• Protect the best interests of both our clients and insurance company partners.
• Quote and sell policies

Compensation:

• Base salary plus commission
