- Two years of experience performing specialized clerical such as: drafting memos and correspondence, gathering data for reports, and providing customer service duties
- High school diploma or GED
- A combination of post-secondary education and job-related experience may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
- Clerical/customer service experience in a law office, judicial, or law enforcement environment
- Locate, order, pull, create, and organize case files
- Enter and retrieve case information from various databases, including Motor Vehicle Department, Justice Court database, and Superior Court database, among others
- Perform statistical data collection and tracking and prepare various correspondence
- Assist in entering case disposition entries
- Research persons' information in state and national criminal history databases
- Maintain a current TOC with Department of Public Safety
- Enter data in case management system using information provided by law enforcement
- Assist in scanning and uploading case files and documents such as certified criminal history records
- Work is mostly performed in an office setting in high volume, fast-paced legal office environment
- Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities
- May require travel to and from job-related locations during a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding the use of County vehicles and/or private vehicles used on County business
- Ability to lift boxes and/or pull mailcart weighing 25 - 40 pounds
- Hybrid and alternative work schedules are available upon successful completion of the 6-12-month probationary period
