Position Qualifications

Education
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three (3) years of construction or maintenance, lead, or supervisory experience.
- Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire.
- Training that may be provided on-the-job: FEMA NIMS - IS100 and 700; Safety; Payroll; PREA.
- Prior to hiring, the Sheriff's Office requires that all candidates pass a background review.

- Communicates effectively in oral and written formats.
- Coordinates and participates in training and safety programs for the Custodial and Quality Assurance personnel.
- Orders, controls, receives, and assigns all supplies, cleaning chemicals, and equipment for assigned areas.
- Generates work orders for special projects.
- Maintains knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Hazmat, and Arizona Safety and Health Laws and regulations.
- Monitors personnel performance and conducts regular coaching sessions; administers employee performance appraisals.
- Promotes, coaches, and leads employees to participate in process improvement teams and encourages employee suggestions.
- Fosters continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility and evaluates methods to reduce creating costs.
- Performs administrative functions such as payroll time entry, monthly activity reports, performance and trend charts.
- Participates and assists in special projects and implementation of new programs and methods
- Provides exemplary customer service via email, telephone, and in person.
