Branch ManagerEagle Fence Distributing, LLCThe primary function of the Branch Manager is to direct all branch activities and personnel to ensure that the business objectives for the branch are achieved efficiently and cost-effectively.
The principal branch activities are sales, and operations.
The manager must be effective in coordinating all these activities such that the customers are served by a seamless and transparent operation.
The Branch Manager is accountable for branch sales, gross profit, contribution margin objectives, controlling expenses, and asset management.

Oversee the transportation of goods from site to customerReview purchase orders for approvalEnsure inventory maintains optimal levelsEnsure all DOT regulations and reporting procedures are followedEnsure work force is flexible and can respond to variations in workflowPlan daily operations and manpower/equipment needs and ensure timely plan executionEnforce the safety and security policies, to ensure a safe work environment and limit shrinkageConduct quality checks and audits of processes; recommend and implement changes to maximize productivitySupervise the proper housekeeping and maintenance of the facility and equipmentCoaching, counsel and discipline associates to hold them accountable for their performanceTroubleshoot with internal cross functional teams to increase customer satisfaction.Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop relationships with new customersCold calling will be requiredOversee daily loading and yard scheduleSchedule staffing to meet the changing daily business needsPromote a continuous improvement culture through communication and coaching employees as well as finding opportunities for streamlining production activities and enhancing value-added processesComply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.Perform other duties as assignedEducation:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Experience with a similar workforce is preferredA bachelor's degree and/or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Technical Skills:
Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a jobOperations Analysis - Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a designRepairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.Technology Design - Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needsTroubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about itOther Skills:
