Senior Staff Accountant - Fixed Assets

This role will oversee fixed asset accounting, asset tracking, depreciation and various aspects of financial statement reporting/preparation. Vaco has a lucrative Senior Staff Accountant role available for a fast-growing manufacturing organization located in the East Valley. This role will oversee fixed asset accounting, asset tracking, depreciation and various aspects of financial statement reporting/preparation. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage fixed asset accounting including:
- Disposals
- Acquisitions
- Depreciation entries
- Transfers
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and review asset tracking
- Assist withmonthly financials
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience within the manufacturing (or related) industry
- Fixed assets experience
- Strong Excel skills
