We value diversity in our families and strive to create successful placement matches so our youth can heal in the best environment possible for them.To be a Therapeutic Foster Care Provider with Pathways of Arizona, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age and residing in the state of Arizona
- Have one year of foster care experience or the equivalent in providing direct supports to children with challenging behavioral needs. Such as:
- Special Education Teacher
- Clinical Therapist
- Behavioral Health Residential Services Staff
- Nurse or Doctor
- Enjoy adventure, have an above average supply of patience, the ability to be creative with interventions/discipline, and feel the passion for serving and helping this population
- Possess a valid driver's license and social security car
- Have reliable vehicle and office equipment, such as computer, phone, printer, etc
- Have a good sense of humor
- Be physically, emotionally, and financially stable
- 12 days of paid vacation
- Tax free monthly reimbursements starting at $2400 per child
- 24/7 support from foster care professionals
- One-on-one support and weekly contact with foster care professionals
- Community training/development opportunities
