• Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the assembly, installation and dismantling of processing equipment, machinery, conveyors, steel structures, and other heavy equipment components using various hand tools including moving machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and fork trucks, cranes.
• Select appropriate method and tools according to weight/size of load.
• Continually plan work so that your journeyman team can safely and efficiently put high quality work in place by having all materials and equipment available for each assignment.
• Participate in project pre-planning and short interval planning.
• Monitor your team's safe execution of the work while delivering the highest quality finished product.
• Set and measure production goals and report back to the project team via daily logs.
• Coordinate and communicate details of projects, while offering guidance to team members regarding project procedures and safety requirements.
• Delegate responsibilities, continuously train and develop future foreman and journeyman while providing constant constructive feedback.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Operate equipment, man lift, fork truck, welding unit and other equipment.

• You are a true builder.
• Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as a journeyman Millwright working in heavy industrial environments.
• Five+ (5+) years of experience leading a team or overseeing projects in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to visualize a layout by looking at plans and prints.
• Ability to comprehend and trouble-shoot mechanical systems.
• Skilled at interpreting specifications and technical documents, with an emphasis on blueprints and drawings.
• Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions.
• Strategic thinker who will establish and manage plans while building and fostering relationships.
• Ability to generate ideas for quick response with decision-making focused on implementing practical, timely solutions.
• Strong leadership style that is firm and goal oriented, yet motivates, trains, and engages others.
• Outgoing, poised, and persuasive communication style.
• Ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting to changing conditions.

• Valid Driver's License.
• OSHA 10 is required and must complete OSHA 30 upon hiring.
• NCCER and rigging credentials preferred.
• Industrial construction industry experience is highly preferred.

• Requires prolonged walking, standing, sitting, bending, squatting, stooping, climbing, regular lifting and carrying to move up to 50 lbs., talking, hearing, reaching, feeling, grasping, and push/pulling.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions/temperatures.
• Regular mental and visual attention much or all the time with manual coordination.
• Flexibility required to travel for all projects.
