Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is hiring for an Aquatics Coordinator in our Bentonville, AR facility.
• Aquatics Coordinator, Bentonville, AR
• _Full-time with PTO & benefits. Will have oversight over Lifeguard team._
As Aquatics Coordinator, you will report to the Aquatics Director and perform some critical lifeguard duties in addition to scheduling, in-service training, and supervision. You'll also be part of program coordination, facility supervision, and lifeguard team oversight. _Schedule is Monday-Friday 1PM-9PM._
• What you will do:
• + Monitor aquatics facilities patrons and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Enforce and explain rules as necessary. Maintain a professional attitude.
• Quick handling of all injuries/incidents that occur in the Aquatics Center during shift and completing incident/accident reports. Administer first aid as needed.
• Perform chemical testing and document results.
• Assist Aquatics Director with the implementation of various programs and initiatives.
• Supervise and schedule the lifeguards. Provide training, certification and recertification.
• Assist in the onboarding and continued development of the aquatics staff.
• Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
• Additional duties as needed/assigned.
• What's in your swim backpack?
• + Must be 18 years old & hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification with CPR/AED/First Aid.
• Will have guarded in an aquatics facility and have experience in pool water testing and cleaning.
• Will be required to obtain ARC Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) certification and Certified Pool Operation (CPO) within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
• Compensation:
• $20-21/hour. Pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.
